Hi Dave,

Thanks, after 50 plus years of wrench twisting fixing old cars, old boats, old hovercraft (yes, hovercraft!) it’s time to move onto a wrench free phrase of my life.

While serious back issues were the final catalyst, I’m actually quite ready to say good-bye to this phase and move on to other activities. Who knows I might even finish the basement that I said I would finish 6 years ago! :)

Hi,

Health issues and a corresponding change in life style means I’m stepping away from the world of Corvairs.

The UltraVan is gone but she went to a good home so I’m a happy camper.

 

The next step is to get rid of what I call redundant inventory.

 

I have a large assortment including the following:

 

1 box of assorted engine sheet metal, mostly late model

2 boxes of lights, mostly tail lights

1 box of electrical items such as coils, horns, regulators

3 oil coolers, 2 X 12 plate and 1 folded fin

1 box of assorted fuel and gas lines (some chrome), 3 fuel pumps

2 heads, complete, probably 110

3 axles

1 steering column

1 new turbo muffler (generic)

2 differentials, one case only, one complete

1 flywheel, late

3 clutch discs (good for cores)

 

Obviously I’d like to get rid of this as a package deal, all for free.

Next week it’s going to be loaded onto my utility trailer and taken over to be recycled at Hartland, near Victoria, BC. Tentatively I’m planning on doing that on Wednesday.

However, if anybody wants any or all (please!) of it I’m happy to meet them and transfer any or all of the load at some convenient location.

 

Last but not least, my restored 66 Corsa convertible along with many $ worth of NOS and other parts, books and memorabilia will be put up for sale so if anybody has any interest prior to me advertising it, please contact me.
