Not sure on the description , but maybe try the old "cuffing" of carbs.  
Remove air cleaner , get it running (warmed up if possible)  , rev it up a  
little (not screaming to death) and put the palm of your hand over one carb at 
a  time until it almost stalls, then rev it a few times.. This may flush 
things  from the main jet area enough to tell you that it is a fuel problem. 
This is NOT  the same as putting the  chokes on.
