Thanks Frank.  I got to looking for a snap ring this morning but didn't see
it earlier due to some of the bearing grease filling in the end gap of the
snap ring.  Quite the bugger to expand and pull out of the groove but I got
it out.
Thanks very much for taking the time to fill me in.  The last thing I
wanted to do was to crack that brittle nylon.
