Yep, it's real.  We haven't had it in place for very long, I'll have to check and see the particulars of how much has been raised.

I'm not sure what Amazon does if you haven't selected a charity, so it would be best to choose the CPF.  BTW, Amazon will helpfully remind you to go to smile.amazon.com if you forget too many times in a row.
