<VV> FC / wagon engine question

It’s a little unclear if this oil line is on the engine going in, or the engine going out.



Either way, it’s probably for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge.

Guys,
We are temporarily installing a FC / wagon engine into a late model.  There appears to be a small diameter pressurized oil line exiting the block just ahead of the dipstick tube boss; then going through a grommet on the lower front shroud (by the 4" hose outlet).  Anybody know what this is for?
