  Why turn the drums? Were they scored really bad? Only turn drums IF 
there is a problem. The larger you turn the drums, that harder it is to 
get the shoes to fit. Place the new shoes in the drum and see what the 
contact area is like. You can sand the shoes to fit, known as arcing the 
shoes back in the old days. Usual warnings of getting crap in lungs/not 
good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use safety 
equipment.

What brand of shoes did you buy? People on corvaircenter forum are 
complaining of new hard brake shoes.
