<VV> Can't get LED lights to fit

I ordered: 
LUYED 10 x 100LM 12v Super Bright 3014 8-EX Chipsets Lens BA9 BA9S 53 57 1895 64111 LED Bulbs
and they don't fit in the dash light sockets.  I measured them against the stock incandescent bulbs.  They are close to being identical but for some reason I can't get them to stay in the socket.
Would somebody who got them to work have any suggestions for me?
