<VV> Re-locating my park brake handle

Well, now I'm committed to re-locating my park brake ...
Any ideas or warnings?
I wanted to put the park brake in the center (for a console) and then I put speakers in the kick panels under the dash I'll post more about that later.), and the park brake handle got it the way, so I took it out.
She's a 4-speed, so I don't really need it anyway, right?
Plus, there's a hole in the console that calls for a center mounted park brake, so-o-o-o ...
I'm also putting in a "quick shifter" for a shorter throw, since the standard shift lever hits the edges of the "hole" in the console (which is even more work to re-design!
