An easy shade tree adjustment can be made by having someone hold the gas pedal to the floor while you adjust the link to fit into the two holes with a slight (one turn) toward tension. A lot of turbochargers get a bad rap because the carb doesn't open fully. Won't work by just pulling the accelerator rod in the engine bay. Once the adjustment is made, double check to make sure it closes fully with the choke disengaged.
