I read this somewhere-(tech guide maybe?)-just add a little grease to the tube and the end of the fitting. Tighten it finger tight.  Then use the wrench to snug it up, then a little more.  But be  careful. You can easily overtighten them.

Remember- you can always tighten it a smidge more, if needs be.  Common sense does apply.

     I've used this method for years with absolutely no trouble what-so-ever.  It works.
