The had the lower compression heads but pop up pistons, supposedly still giving about 9:1. You think after owning the car 7 years I would have checked to see what distributor is on the car, AIR ones are less aggressive advance but as we all know too many Corvair parts can be swapped around.David

I'm not positive of the details, but didn't '69 110s come with lower compression than earlier engines?
