Window Stickers 1967 1969 & 1969 Needed for CORSA Communique Article Series

CORSA Communique Editor Don Keefe and I are launching an historic year-by-year series of CORVAIR OPTION PRODUCTION FIGURE ARTICLES. The production totals for Corvair options will be published broken down by model and application FOR THE FIRST TIME using internal data I've accumulated over the years. Paint and Interior color numbers will be included too.

The 1969 installment is finished and will appear in the November/December Communique, although there are a few option applications that more '69 documents may solve. 1969 is relatively easy year because so many '69 Window Stickers, "Car Shippers" (carbon copies of the sticker), Factory Invoices and "Scheduled Price Sheets" (similar to stickers) have been saved.

Chevrolet records provided production figures for many more EXCEPTIONS (variations) of 1967 and 1968 options than for 1969, many of which are very obscure and have production numbers of less than 10.

YOU CAN HELP WITH THIS PROJECT if you'll please send pictures or scans of any of the documents listed above for 1967, 68 or 69, all of which show the option numbers WITH THEIR EXCEPTION LETTERS (see attached pic). Exception Letters are the two suffix letters after the option number, such as the "AA" in RPO L63AA.

ANY documents showing the Exception Letters will do.

As each year's option production chart is published, Allan Lacki will post it permanently on the CORSA website. We'll acknowledge everyone who has helped out and periodically update the charts with newly found data.

1968 is the most critical year at the moment, but '67 and '69 are just as important to the project. THANKS!! Dave Newell, chevrobilia at yahoo.com (email, no texting).
