I strongly encourage you to get this car to the CORSA International
Convention in Ventura (about a hundred miles from Santa Clarita?) in two
weeks, June 23-27, see details at http://conventions.corvair.org/2008.
 
I've copied the '69 Corvair enthusiasts (on-line) sub-group of CORSA to
this reply, who will be holding their annual in-person meeting in
Ventura at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the 24th, you are most welcome to
attend.  (Fyi, the last four digits of any '69 Corvair is of interest to
this group.)
