[1969] Chapter Charter / Bylaws

Below I have exerpted the pertinent sections from the CORSA bylaws (they're
online by the way).  To cut to the chase, the documents we need should be
available from the CORSA "Chapter Plan Committee", specifically the
"Chapter Guidelines" and hopefully the 1969 Group charter information &
bylaws.  

Tom Connolly is the Chairman of the Chapter Plan Committee. I'd be happy to

Article VI: Divisions, Regions, and Chapters
Section 2: Chapters
Groups of Society members who meet the geographic and membership
requirements of the Society Chapter Plan will be chartered as a chapter of
the
Society. Organizational requirements of a group forming a local chapter, the
responsibilities of the Society in this relationship, and benefits to the
chapter will be defined in an operating policy of the Society called the
Chapter Plan. There will be no charge to the local chapter, beyond dues of
members, for the privilege of chapter status.

Article XII: Committees
Section 1.7: Chapter Plan Committee
The Chapter Plan Committee will maintain the Society plan by which chapters
are granted charter status, and by which the relationship between chapters
and
the Society is determined. The committee will provide guidance material to
assist chapters in their operation.

Article XIV: Society Publications
Section 2: Chapter Guidelines
The Society will publish and periodically update a printed pamphlet of
instructions to assist chapters of the Society in their original formation,
and in the conduct of their ongoing affairs. Such publication will be
available through the business office.
