Sarah, I thank you.

Right now it is clear that there is interest in having a viable group. I
think we're at the point where, to move forward again, we need leadership
to step up again. The group recognizes this now, at least those that we've
heard from in this forum.

It's not a matter of fault or blame, and how we got to this point is not so
much the issue now. Certainly, I don't think that anyone has anything but
appreciation for your contributions and those of your fellow officers.

Still, I agree with you and I think we should go about this the right way
if there are indeed bylaws.

Bob, can get a copy to us so that we can proceed properly?

Thanks,

- Steve

I have stayed out of this conversation for many reasons. However, now that
it looks like something is going to happen FINALLY...then there are a few
things to be considered.

I know Marvin sent an email recently. Now it's my turn. I thought about
this over the weekend and I'm not really sure how I feel about all of this.
Yes, I'm glad things are finally coming around and getting re-started. But
at the same time quite honestly my feelings are hurt. Marvin and I worked
DAMN hard to keep us all afloat after Mark passed. We continued on with
Mark's wishes for Jacksonville and made a very special deal out of the 40th
anniversary of this very special car. We marched on forward and toward the
Fall of last year we both decided it was time to step back. We were in our
positions for 3 years within the 69 Club. Personally for me it was also 9
years of being on the BoD of CORSA, 5 of which as President. I needed a
break. We asked, we then pleaded and finally BEGGED for you all to step up
and take over.  NOTHING.  So the Chapter fell apart under us, when we;
Marvin, Ed, Ken and myself were probably the hardest most dedicated
officers the Chapter ever
  had.

CONSIDERATIONS:

Someone needs to reach out to Ken Amick and see if he wants to continue
doing the newsletter. He did a fabulous job with the first and only one he
produced. However, he did receive a lot of back lash from people who said
they didn't get one. Ken was given a list of members and he went off what
was given to him. I don't blame him for giving up. So someone needs /
should step up and reach out to him to see if he is still interested.

He did an excellent job and had many great ideas. He posted REPEATEDLY to
this forum for input, articles, suggested series, etc and NO ONE responded.

Steve mentioned an Activities Director and a host of other postions. All
this is great EXCEPT, we need to check the By-Laws for the Chapter. Where
are they? I have no idea. I am assuming they are on Eve's computer or in
paper form somewhere. Perhaps Wade may have a copy? I know I had asked a
few times to see them and none were to be found.

All is not lost though...CORSA / M & P should have a copy of them. In
order for us to have received Chapter Status, we would have had to submit
them. The problem is M & P is busy and this is a low priority for them.
Perhaps Bob or any other current BoD member on this list could get M & P to
send a copy. All Chater members should have a copy anyway.

Just a few thoughts,

Sarah
