[1969] Results of finest six Corvairs at auction!

Here are the results of the Don Schneider auction yesterday:

69 Monza Coupe Frost Green, #3102, only 88 miles w/original window sticker -
$14,000
69 Monza Convertible, Champagne, #1360, 140, 4-speed - $12,750
68 Monza Convertible, Red, PG - $7,800
66 Monza Convertible, Blue, PG - $7,600
65 Corsa Convertible, Black, turbo, "Black Widow" - $17,000
62 Rampside, PG, "Big Orange" - $24,000 

These prices do not include the 10% fee paid to the auctioneer.

All of these Corvairs are very nice. Don always restored his Corvairs to a
very high quality.

This is from the incredible collection of an incredible person and fellow
Corvair enthusiast, Don Schneider of Dundee OH.  I consider Don, and his
late wife, Alyce, among the very finest people I have ever met in the "The
World of Corvair" -- as you will see indicated on one of his buildings, I
still think about a weekend visit there back in 1990.  I first met Don and
Alyce at the '77 CORSA Convention in Bloomington MN, and was in touch w/
them often through the mid-90's.

??? I just saw a link on all finest six Corvairs at auction in Ohio this
Friday. One of them is 1969 coupe with 88 original miles on it... Oh yes, it
is Frost Green, of course!
