[1969] Cooling Fan

OK, I revise my ‘statement’😉, Dave Leonard is correct (how quickly we forget).  As Dave states, they were coated in a dark grey- easily confused with dirty fans (that’s my excuse🤣).  These fans DO corrode, so be sure to inspect it closely for cracks, etc. and of course, a coating like Eastwood’s Zinc Phosphate will help protect it.

Somewhere on the forums there is a picture of a NOS fan that clearly shows the original color, along with an extensive discussion on the topic.  I found Eastwood Zinc Phosphate paint to be a pretty close approximation, so that's what I went with.”
