Well,   the note was note meant to repeat the mandatory vs voluntary membership 
debate

Hello Tim and all:

CORSA has long lamented the membership issue.  The pros & cons of membership requirements have been laid on the table.  Suggestions have abounded.  Anecdotal evidence has flowed like water over the falls.  The likelihood of something new surfacing at this point is very limited.  

To date no follow up action has come into play.  In fact, it would appear that CORSA is content to sit back and hope the local clubs will solve the problem for them.  That plan has not worked for the last 20 years and there is little or no reason to hope it will just start working now.  

There has been much too much talk and not any action.  As the national organization it is the responsibility of CORSA to set policies and be the leader.  It is up to CORSA to put together a plan, pick a direction and right or wrong, GO.
