<CORSA Chapters> Membership, dues and such

I agree 100%
Club participation is not a "universal" thought.
I know a lot of people out there who have been burned by clubs, (myself 
included).
Clubs can be composed of certain cliques, where no matter what you are an 
outsider.
Some people are not joiners..........period.

And here's a stray thought..........
Seriously, have you ever ran into a member that you thought just maybe they 
didn't fit in?
Maybe they are not desireable as a member?
Our local chapter had one awhile back..........
He left the Corvair hobby because he expected parts and labor for 
free................and didn't get it.

You tell people they have to join or they can't belong.

Well, most likely they will sell the vair and buy a Mustang..............
