Bryan and all,
Central Coast Corsa's semi-annual event, "Vairfest", for the last two events
has used a club volunteer group for our meals. The Friday evening Welcome
Party uses a Spaghetti Feed for the meal. This is supplied with meat sauce,
or whatever. Bob O and his family has provided this service with pride.
Saturday afternoon meal (banquet) consists mainly of barbequed
steak, chicken, vegetables, beans, and whatever you can conjure. This is
managed by our Don Hemwall and his crew.
We have one advantage for this event, as it is located at our own
Atascadero Lake Park, with the adjoining AARP building for our preparation
and seating of our Spagetti Feed. We have the park barbeque pits and picnic
tables surrounded by our car show cars on the grass. In this manner, we are
able to keep the costs to the participants at a lower price, and everybody
has a great time.
In our case, we do not have a host hotel, but rely on the local
motels.
