Writing these reports as you go is a great idea -- putting ideas to 
paper (pixels?) while they are fresh.

Fire alarm!  That's a new one.  Why didn't we think of that? < grin >

My personal opinion is 'no' to moving the concours from Saturday.  As 
you are well aware I am a big proponent of doing the concours as part of 
a "big car show Saturday," but what I continue to fall back on that 
first group meeting at Tim Schwartz's house last year.  There, as the 
reps from all the clubs contemplated doing the convention, the FIRST 
scheduling suggestion someone made was to do the concours on Saturday.  
There was broad agreement.  Clearly, a Saturday concours is an idea 
strongly supported at the grassroots level.

A Saturday concours will be great for the attendees but hard work for 
the volunteers.  Completing the tallying for a Saturday concours will be 
a challenge.  It is a challenge that we should seek to meet, not seek to 
avoid.
