I do know your opinion on the membership requirement for convention
registration. I am sure everyone else does on this distribution.
CORSA is a car club. It is governed by a Board of Directors. The
membership requirement was brought before the CORSA Board at your behest
and they voted to retain the policy 9 to 1. Complaining to me or this
distribution does not and will not alter that fact.

Far harder? The vast majority of new members join online. When they join
online, they create a user account which is an integrated part of the
process. They already have the necessary credentials to login.
CORSA has just over 4000 members. The site has 3250 people registered
for it. Admittedly, not all those 3250 people are current members, but
what I am saying is that the vast majority of current CORSA members
already have an online account.
Regardless of the member requirement, registering for the convention
requires contact information. If one is not logged in, then who is ever
registering for the convention would have to supply it, possibly
creating a duplicate account. With all the different convention
activities, adding contact info to the process is burdensome. Logging in
makes it possible to link the convention registration with the member's
records, thus eliminating the need to collect contact info.

Actually, how would you know what links are displayed on the website?
The main convention registration links are only available to logged in
CORSA members.
Bob finishes with:

I do not disagree with your sentiment, but you need to understand that
the site was created and mostly maintained by a volunteer. And you
already know how to contact the web master...
