Folks,
Let's see if we can send in a BIG bunch of stuff. Don't be fearful that what you did was unimportant or of no interest to outsiders. It was and is. It might not make it into the Communiqué because of space limits but let's give it a big try.

Bob Marlow will be happy to help edit your input. Right, Bob?

Brian, thanks to you and all for a great convention. As always there were
some challenging moments, but I think that all the guests had a great time.

Now that we are back, it's time to produce a convention Communique. As is
traditional I invite you to write an article telling whatever you want to
say or whoever you wish to thank. If not, you could delegate that. Our
first deadline is Monday, August 6, but if you need more time just let me
know. We will be working on this for longer than that.

Likewise if any of your event chairs wish to write, they may. For instance,
the rally may wish to tell what some of the more interesting answers were,
or explain the scoring. Not required but optional.

I will contact entrants in the major events and tours where I know who was
registered. If you know of anyone who had a particularly interesting
experience, give me a tip and I will follow up with them.

Some of the minor activities I do not know the entrants or even the
organizers, such as the backseat driver and slow drags. Let me know whom to
contact. Also if there are winners in these events we should publicize the
names.

Thanks again for an interesting week. It was different but I think the
experiments worked.

--Mike McGowan
