Proposed convention new comer's meeting

This is a casual meeting primarily for people who have never before
attended a convention.  It's purpose is to run through the calender of
events and present a brief explanation of each event.  Each event
chairman or representative should be present to talk about their event
and to field any questions that may arise.  The group in charge of the
trips to Boston and Newport might have brochures available for interested
persons.  I think the meeting could be completed within 45 minutes.  Each
chairman would only speak 2 to 5 minutes.  If no other room is available
at this time I believe that the hospitality room should be large enough
for this meeting.
