Do you have a one page convention flyer you can send me? Stop & Shop (my largest customer) has a store 2.6 miles from the convention and I'm going to ask them if they want to sponsor (coupon?) something for the goodie bags.

Now that I've got your attention, I'm going to offer another great suggestion.  
 am also in favor of inviting the Fiat 600 club to the convention!  
After all, the early-series Corvair swing-axle suspension was a near duplicate 
f the Fiat 600 rear suspension, introduced in 1955 by the Fiat's incomparable 
ead engineer, Dante Giacossa!  
Back in the 1950s, GM was experimenting with sophisticated deDion axles, but 
hen it came to engineering an independent suspension for a real production car, 
hey turned to Fiat for inspiration! <LOL>

I'm with Al on this one.
I think ONE CAR if they want, but the rear suspension display idea is great and 
here is the tie to the Corvair.
I read somewhere the rear suspension design was going into the Corvair first, 
ut Duntov was against it because he wanted the Corvettes to get it first and 
et the Corvairs follow the Corvette.
If the Corvettes were to follow the Corvair design that would not work for the 
odel "chain of command".

No one wants to take away from the Corvair, but I wonder how many Corvair owners 
lso have Corvettes?

Brian,  I am OK with Hugh Maquire's proposal, especially if the informational 
isplay includes the original Corvette-based Corvair show car, which was 
asically a '53 Vette with a fast-back roof.  It would also be interesting if 
he display includes an exhibit of the '63 to '82 Corvette rear suspension, 
hich is nearly identical to the '65-'69 Corvair rear suspension.  The story of 
he Sting Ray rear suspension - the who, what, when, where and why of its 
evelopment - should interest anybody who owns the second-series Corvair.  All 
've ever heard about it is that it was developed by Zora Arkus-Duntov, but I
