Dave,
I am so sorry to hear about your father. Words are inadequate at
a time like this. Thank you so much for seeing this through in spite of
the difficulties of the family situation. Our thoughts are with you.
FYI: I just mailed out the sponsor/advertising checks to Tom Ludwig
($1900).
The souvenir book is nearly complete (just a few touches here and there
- page 6), the program guide is done.
I HAVE to take the material to the printer tomorrow. I am flying down to
Florida to be with my family on Wednesday to next Monday. My father is
dying of cancer. The doctors have said they can no longer treat him. He
has a month or so but his condition has been deteriorating rapidly.
I've made a photocopy of the souvenir booklet and attached it to this
e-mail (hope it's not too big for you). Obviously, the quality will be
much better from the printer.
The file is huge so I'll be dropping off a flash drive to them. Please
let me know if there is any content that needs changing by this evening
so I can get it done.
Thanks,
Dave

OK, that sounds like a plan. It should be publicized someplace.

> Brian, Ron, and Dave, For drop-off, the idea is that the registration
people would simply collect them and put them aside for the hotel to
hang. For pick-up, the idea is that the hotel would take them down
before the banquet and that folks could either (a) pick them up at the
banquet, or (b) pick them up at the front desk of the hotel as they
check-out the following morning. Kris Moysenko was OK with this
proposal. Al

that we can arrange anything we want for pickup. Since registration and
hospitality will be closed by mid afternoon, we need to come up with
something. What do you think Brian?

so far, please correct and add as necessary:

> Chapter banners will be displayed around the perimeter of the hotel's
indoor atrium. Drop off your chapter's banner at the convention
registration no later than noon on Wednesday, July 25th. The banners
will be put on display in the atrium Wednesday afternoon and will be
taken back down before the beginning of the banquet on Saturday
afternoon. They will be available for pickup????
