CORSA 2012: Meeting Change

After a number of conversations with the hotel management; it is
apparent that I screwed up. My original plan was for me, Ron and Ray to
meet with Kris from the hotel at noon on Friday.  I wanted us to walk
around the hotel and check out the rooms were are going to use during
the convention.  I wanted us to agree on the layout and the items like
tables and chairs we would need. I also intended to bring to the T shirt
guy in Auburn a list by size of shirts that have been ordered so he can
get started.  I wanted to visit Old Sturbridge Village to arrange for
their re-enacters to come to our picnic. 

Then, on Saturday, I wanted the folks that will be using rooms to check
them out and tell Ron exactly what they needed.  I had a number of other
tasks in mind like working with Tom on parking and traffic control.

However, there is a glitch in the plan.  The hotel will have a very big
group there on Saturday and all the meeting rooms are full.  This will
make checking them out impossible. So, here's the modified plan.  The
Friday meeting with Kris is till on as is the other things I had planned
for Friday afternoon. I'm staying overnight at the hotel and will be
available to meet with anyone who can make it.  I would recommend that
if you are in charge of an activities that requires hotel facilities,
you com Sunday.  Please let me know your plans.  If anyone is coming on
Sunday, I'll stay over Saturday night.  Telling me you plans is very
important so I don't waste a night at the hotel just to find out no one
is coming Sunday.
