[FC] Rear end noise

Are you saying it was a sealed U-joint, or that the nipple hole was there,
but there was no nipple on it? That's pretty scary right there. If you want
some real bulletproof ones, I would suggest finding (in the list archive)
the suggestions for higher strength U-joints, and lube it yourself with some
high quality grease. Part number Dana-Spicer 153 X (thanks Bob Galli) is
available at Napa. Ken Hand prefers the Advance Auto Brute Force with AMSOIL
grease. Sealed "heavy duty" joints are fine, that's what I'm running (otc
Napa), but I did myself the favor of cleaning out the el-generico lube and
filling it up with some lithium grease. Still works fine after a year and a
half, so far. Before I was using Autozone specials on the as-sold lube, and
I went through a couple sets in about the same amount of time. Mind you,
that was with the worn yoke, so that could have had an effect.
