Just take them apart and inspect.  If the rollers and races look good,
regrease and they will go another 40 years!

Ken and group,    You folks really have me worried.I bought my first FC in
20 years in Oct.Are these rear wheel bearings something that fail
frequntly.I didn't have a failure on my other trucks.I want to be able to
drive my rampside without that much worry.
