[FC] advice with diff problems

hi all,

the drama continues, got in the van on saturday, heard loud grinding sound in diff area, jacked in up, pulled out the axles

when i put in into gear and try to rotate the yokes counterclockwise, hear grinding noise and eventually it will catch and rotate the opposite yoke

have not finished dropping motor, however i suspect the pinon gear

my question is, what should be replaced, this is daily driver and i dont mind spending money to do it right (4 speed and 110)

has been suggested that i replace with spider gears, do anyine have feedback, if that is route, which kit do i need, clarks lists multiple spider kits from basic to ultimate, also is there anything i should replace while its out

last question, is this a relatively easy job, i looked in service manuals and saw references to tolerances, dial indicator, etc.
