Hey guys and gals,
We've been doing quite a bit of "spring cleaning" at the dealership this
week, and the parts manager told be to "get rid of" some boxes that were marked
"old books", so I stuffed them in the Greenbrier yesterday (Corvair content),
finding most of them to be old binders with sales info in them... but then the
heavier boxes I found to be used GM parts catalogs... I just placed the first
truck catalog on eBay (1973-1978), and there are several more, including a
mid-1980s Y body (Corvette, for the uninformed) catalog, some Pontiac and Buick
catalogs from the same era, and also some for S10, G van, M van, and full sized
trucks up to about 1992... I'll be sticking it all on eBay, since I need the
money for my upcoming move (probably around January)...
I've only listed the one catalog, but I will try to have more done this
evening... there were also some Chevrolet, Buick, and Olds dealer catalogs that
they used for showing the customers who wanted to order different options,
instead of just buying "dealers stock"... those will be up soon, too.
I just wanted to let y'all know.
Take care,
"Lonzo"... parts guy at a Chevy Dealership...
