Harry, I don't see anything wrong with your gas mileage for the trip you
took, considering your climb, and your jet size. We get 15-16 MPG with 52
jets on average travel, but we have 3.89's. 35 MPH in low seems OK to me in
the Greenbrier. Do it all the time on steep grades. Same applies in the
UltraVan. Works out to be about 3300 in the UltraVan. You might like to cut
back the jet size to 52, or 51 for a test. I use 52 in both GB and UV. If
most of your travel will be at sea level, you may not want 51's. Give it a
test anyway.
