i do not think poping thru carbs is because of jet size...valves adjusted too tight? or other issues. there are rotors out there with wrong size tip..too wide may keep spark too long causing fire to stay on plug with valve on the way open...found that once a long time ago...fun to find! i think 4 cyl rotors look the same and have very wide tip?? regards tim colson
