as they say you get what you pay for. a good quality paint will cost over 300
dollars so you can tell the paint is cheap begin with. i use ppg on most what
i paint but have used other paints. you could check with your town to see if
there is bodyshop that will just spray it for you. tell them you plan on
buying everything and doing all the prep yourself.

You "may" get an adequate job that way, MAACO generally does not do more
than a minimum of prep work, so paint has been known to peel, they also just
mask everything, not remove chrome. I never had a job done there myself, but
ended up with cars that were done there.
