put the silicone in it...it is not that expensive for a quart now and you 
will probably never have to fuss with it again. i put my 64 spyder together with 
it in 1974 and it is still fine. i did 2 other antuiqe chrysler products at 
the same time and they are still soppin fine also.never any troubles and back 
then it was pricy and came from aircraft supplier in ohio. now just go to napa 
or anywhere.   regards tim colson
