[FC] BRAKE QUESTION

All;

I replaced the shoes, had the drums turned and replaced one bad brake cylinder
on my '63 Monza about 1-1/2 years ago.
The car hasn't been driven much since then because it was in an accident and I
just got it back from the body shop this spring.

When I step on the brakes they don't seem to "grip" as well as they should,
even as I press harder on the brake pedal.
I checked the fluid level and it's fine.

I'm thinking that I need to either rough up the drum surfaces with some
sandpaper (surface rust) or have them turned again?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott Wilson
