Bob taught me to ride the brake pedal when driving through as Jim said, more
than an inch of standing water, have never had the brakes fail from water
logged brake linings, as a result,

That was back in the days of a clutch pedal too.

sorry I am entering this a day late, but I didn't connect up the laptop last
night as where we were in Oklahoma, there was no cell phone signal, and that
is my modem.
