Hey D,
You have to remove the headlight bucket and shine a light on the area and
you will see that there is a shaft that will push down. There is a spring on
the bottom side to hold the shaft in place. When you push the shaft down far
enough the air " flapper " will come out on the passenger side of the
vehicle,
Of course you have removed the air grill down by the passengers feet,
right?? There is also a cable attached to the air "flapper" that needs to be
removed too.
Before you replace the inside air grill, you should place some screen door
fabric inside of the air grill to keep bugs from flying in to the vehicle
while driving down the road.
