I am not saying that the tubing doesn't rust out from the inside, just that if
a system is properly maintained, that you shouldn't have problems.  On all my
cars that have hydroscopic brake fluid in them, I change the fluid ever 2
years and have never had a line go bad.  My comments were in regard to the
necessity of changing over to the dual master cylinder.  If you want to
improve braking performance, then switch to disk brakes at the same time you
install the dual master cylinder.

  failures you would be on the soapbox with me!!   i drove a 62 vette home 235
miles
  annd blew the tubing off it as i drove it into my shop to store it with
  minimal effort. i have blown tubing off many cars in the process of
inspections in
  ny state shop. many were only a couple years old so the issue was outside
rust
  not inside like our old cars.its your bullet  dodge it..my flame suit is on
