My thought is to butt it right up to the driver side of the bed, the length
would cover that side, heighth would be to the first level up towards the
rear of the truck and maybe come out from the side about a foot. I don't
know what gallonage it would hold at that size but certainly would need to
hold at least ten gallons. Also, I'm thinking it may be possible to route
the filler tube thru the existing filler tube hole and into the front end of
the tank.
I'm going to meet with a fellow sometime this week to see if one like it is
available or needs to be custom made.
Another option is to use the stronger tanks the sand rails use. It is
usually tubular but may work. I'll look into that as well. I plan to post on
VV and Corvanatics if I find something suitable.
