Jim,

Thanks for the plug for Corvanatics. The mentioned pamphlet has a lot of
info related to setting up differentials. Also available is another
booklet
relating to the workings of the Powerglide. This is not a "How to Fix"
but a
"What makes it work" book compiled from the letters of Bob Ballew and
his
Idle Mind Workshop". Also, articles related to the workings of the
Vacuum
Modulator, Governor, and differences between EM, LM, and 140
transmissions.

     Differential Booklet $5.00 PPD

     Powerglide Booklet $10.00 PPD

Oh, the visual difference in the two snouts, '60-'62 snout, 1 slot,

63-'69 snout, 6 slots. These are in the face of the snout that mates to
the
bearing. They should only be used in their corresponding year
differential
cases because of dimentional differences in the cases.

      Bob

Diane Galli, Corvanatics treasurer, has a pamphlet for sale written

by Bob Ballew on differentials. The last page is on P/G snouts

written by none other than Bob Galli. If you rebuild diffs this is a
must.
