[FC] Window and door problems

Used latches were only two or three dollars at the GWFBTSM at Palm Springs. 
I've found that the springs are not pre-wound enough and a balky latch can 
be improved by giving the spring a stronger pre-wind by manually "bending" 
it a little tighter.  No help for a broken spring, of course.
