[FC] paint stripe location

You know what, I think I figured out what you are asking. On the (usually
white) stripe, where does the color change take place - On the body line -
or above or below it? Is that the question?

I don't know what the factory did, but I would think that it would be very
difficult (and might not be straight) if you were to try to put it ON the
body line. Outside of the body lines (just a little wider) would look odd I
suspect. So, by deduction, I would think that the best way would be just a
small fraction of an inch INSIDE both the upper and lower body lines which
create the center stripe. You could make a straight line with the masking
tape regardless of any imperfections in the body itself.

Attachments (if any) are scanned with anti-virus software.
