Hello all I just signed up for the group and wanted to say hi. I have a
number of Corvair cars but jut got my first Greenbrier. It is a 64 four
speed 110 dark blue with a white stripe. It had been parked since 78, I
bought it from the second owner. He got it in 66 and I was there family
car for a few years and then he took the seats out and used it as a
utility vehicle around the farm. In 78 he went to trade it on another
car and all they would give him for it was $25.00. So he drove it home
and parked it in the barn (concrete floor and very dark the rubber is
all very nice). I got it a month ago or so but it is in MO and I am in
WI, My Dad found it for me. It will be coming home at the end of the
month. I can't wait! The old girl is pretty solid for something that
grew up in the Midwest, and it is unbelievable how un messed with it is.
Everything is in its place and works. I went down last weekend and we
rebuilt the carbs and it fired right up, the e-brake woks so we went for
a ride up an down my folks drive way.

Now for my question it does not have the correct trans (no dif
dipstick). Will any 64 trans be ok or do I need to find a 64 truck/van
trans? I look forward to your comments. Video and Pictures at the links
below!
