I agree.  They showed pictures at the Buffalo convention of the
engines being moved with hooks into the bell housing hole and and
the recess in the top cover.

I have been told that recess was for one side of the big tongs they
moved the engines with at the factory.  The eye on the bellhousing is
for the other side.
