[FC] Seat belt installation - where to drill?

JR,

Thanks! Dave Sanger sent me a couple of diagrams from the assembly manuals.
I think the factory locations may have changes for the 63 model year,
possibly earlier, because the two diagrams he provided differ from each
other. The photo you sent is consistent with the locations shown in the
61-62 diagram for the driver and passenger, but not the center position. I
thought that the plugs (unused in your picture) were for the center seat
position but this differs from the 61-62 diagram. However, my '62 has plugs
in a similar location that are definately not those shown in the 61-62
diagram. Alternatively, the plugs could be the factory location for the
inboard passenger and driver belts as well as center seat position as
depicted in the later diagram for '63 sent by Dave, depending on how far
they measure from floor and centerline. I'll measure the plugged
predrilled holes in my '62 when I get home tonight and then it will make
sense whether my predrilled holes are for the center seat location and/or
for the passenger & driver inboard belts.

- Steve

Steven,

I have no idea if this is stock location or not.
