[FC] trouble starting GB....

HI all!

Well, moment of truth... cranked the oil pump by hand, replaced distributor in correct position, hit the start switch and chungada chungada chungada etc with gas starting to spit out of the top of the carbs.

Off came the carbs for a rebuild using the Corvair Underground kits.
Odd inlet valve mechanism, but hey... no reason to think it would not work.

Back on the GB, chungada chungada chungada.... no spitting at least, just a few pops backfiring, and the odd pop from the muffler....

power valve works, carbs are wet, not soaked, .... grrrr

shoved GB back into garage and connected battery charger

now awaiting the arrival of my mechanic brother in law.....
