Re: Paul's search for a Rampside. I just spoke to a seller in Va who wants $7500 for a 61 that he has owned since 63. I have seen it and it is nice. Is the price right? Only time will tell. Supply is beginning to dwindle. Demand has been steady. Economics 101 seems to be dictating the prices. I bought a 31 Auburn Cabriolet for $450 in 1965. People told me I overpaid for "that tired iron" and today people are paying a hundred times that. As each generation ages, they still yearn for the loves of their youth, only now they have the disposable recources to chase their fancies. The cars of the 60's and 70's are hot now because the drooling teenagers of yore now have the money, but most of their idols have been junked.
I'm betting that prices will generally continue upward. Ralph in Fla.
