>> Point 1 - doesn't Clark's now make new bearings for the FC (C6687V
>> page167)?

>There have been repos before most didnt work right

So are Clark's not right? Has anyone tried them yet?

>> Point 2 - why can't you run disk brakes on the FC rear suspension?

>Swing axle, mounting point for caliper wouldnt move with the rotor.

Ok, but are disk brakes really required on an FC (either front or rear).
I would like to see your calculations or test data to support your
opinion. Disc brakes are opinion with out the calculations or test
data.

>> Point 3 - Air bags are not part of the LM suspension?

>Wheels on the late model move vertically when raised or lowered.
>They dont tuck in or out like swing axles do.

OK, still Air bags are not part of LM suspension, just nice to have.
Once air bags are added then you have a modified LM suspension.

>> Point 4 - better because you went to late model car suspension, air
>> bags, or disk brakes?

>All of the above! If the wheels can be kept closer to vertacal at all
times
>it will handle better.

I agree that if the wheels are kept closer to vertical at all times that
it would appear to handle better, I wonder how much you notice in REAL
life. I don't see FC's being put to the extreme, where it would really
matter, on a daily bases. So this still puts this one as opinion. That
just gives us the bearing issue with the others as opinion. Still it is
a cool set up to go to the LM suspension; it was in the Communique last
year (I think). I have all the parts to do it, might just have to do
the set up one day because I can.
