Superior because you can remove them with a phillips or straight screwdriver when you don't have the Robertson bit. Been there done that on a travel trailer... :)

All this talk about the different kind of hardware to use, and not one
suggestion for S/S Robertson Button Head Bolts.  That's "square" for you
'mericans.  Far superior to either Philips or slotted heads.
